I have considered going in house a few times, but the pay was not enough and the micro management was to much for me to handle. If the RGU commissions as a sub contractor keep going lower and lower then going in house is an option that could be a better deal. As you know the people that work in house do become the contractors of tomorrow. There are a few in house positions that are not bad. Cable companies are starting to figure out how to make it work and save a ton of money. If they pay the reps the contract rates they are still going to save a bundle. If they cut out the contractor they will save at least 30%. A contractor is always at risk of loosing reps. There job is not to give anyone a reason to leave. Keep the commissions high, give me a lot of turf and I won't say by!
Happy New Years!!!
All turf is not created equal.
Did you hear about the man in Florida who offered free breast examinations door to door.
