That's funny, I have Comcast and my remote quit working and I called Comcast and told them I needed a replacement remote" thank you we will mail one out"
a week later a remote shows up by fed-ex.. no problem, then my next months bill comes in and I am billed $36.00 for a service call and $16.00 for shipping
when I spoke with the CSR there was no mention of any charges, she just said " you can take it to a local Comcast office and exchange it or we can send you a replacement" I contacted Comcast to dispute the service call and was told that the remotes are a item that requires programming locally and that the CSR charged a service call, I have no problem with the shipping other then $16.00 is quite high,, but the service call.. they won't get it from me
