I know the pricing for contractors suck, but if you had troubleshot correctly (check drop at GB and if signal bad then check signal at port on tap) you could have rescheduled, went on to next install, and come back after OSP work was complete, you might not have had to replace drop in freezing weather, and got paid for TC and whatever you fixed inside in the nice warm home.
