Just talked to a friend who does installs as an employee for cox cable, he told me he had to wait in his truck for almost 45 minutes friday so they could get a port fixed. He was glad because he gets paid by the hour and it was freezing outside !. Thats fine and dandy when you work a true inhouse employee job but when you get paid by the job a measly 15.00 after replacing the drop and stationline for free and running a phone line to the mta after fixing a short somewhere in the house because the idiot who lived there before thought he knew how to do telephone then have to wait an additional 50 minutes so they can fix it on their end is bullshit.
