10 employees do jobs and they all pass inspection so they all get payed $100 each. Then another employee does the same $100 job but it doesn't pass inspection so he only gets $40 for time spent. What would YOU call that Devin? Now if you read the question, an employee based co. that pays piece rate (work done) then the answer is yes, they can backcharge an EMPLOYEE and it's not illegal to have someone else fix it. If you are getting a strait hourly wage (inhouse) then the answer is no. He doesn't sound like an inhouse man to me. So I'm going to have to say YOUR WRONG DEVIN.
