Did 600 some peds last year, used several methods, depending on the circumstance. Some we could use a sharp shooter, and pry them up. Also a hi-lift jack and chain, as was already mentioned. We mounted a hydraulic engine puller on the back of the truck, passenger side. Pull up next to the ped, swing it out and hook a chain to it, done. The best was the snow plow mount on the front of my truck, pull the front up to the ped and hook a chain to it and hit "up" on the switch,,done. Good Luck!
