Another thing...that needs changing!
The tax law on education says in part: You can deduct educational expenses for schooling that continues you in your position. Pay for an undergraduate pre med degree and get a job as a lab tech. Then go to medical school and you can deduct the cost of medical school because you are already in the profession.
Just decide to be a doctor and there are no tax deductions until you become a doctor.
Same for someone who wants to be a contractor. There has to be two parts to the training. One is the technical side; theory and practice.
The other is running a business; complying with all the legal demands of a business with or without and employee, and geting paid.
