i hear ya but since VOIP has came into the picture things have changed for the worst. The only plus that i see to being an employee is the insurances but for those who have other means of insurance, its just not worth it. The employee based companies i know have there techs show up to work everyday and if the work is low they are not clocked in, half of them use there own trks and only get 30 plus cents per mile while as a contractor we get 50 plus cents with write offs.
