Are these amp. power doubling or just pushpull. If they are pushpull,(22 dB gain) the trunk output should be 32 high side (300 MHz) and 28 low side (55 MHz). The power doubling had a 37 dB gain at 300 Mhz, if I remember it right.
We had problem with some trunk module where the push on connector got loose, Magnavox told us to put a carbon washer to improve VSWR.
With 70 amp. cascade you are asking for a lot of trouble, cut that cascade down by putting fiber optic node in.
The input of the trunk should be around + 10 dBmV at 300 MHz and + 18 dBmV at 55 MHz 9before the cable EQ.
The coupler feeding the bridger is a 12 dB, then your input should be around + 20 dbMv at 300 MHz.
