If you have ever watched the show, Undercover Boss will be showing a CEO from DTV getting his hands dirty. That remains to be seen!! As they always do, they will sugar coat what really goes on in this crazy industry. Even if the CEO does see what goes on in our every day life as a technician, there will be serious doubt that anything will change for the technicians and what we have to put up with.
Just today, my buddy was QC'd on an AT&T job. Even though the job was excellent, my buddy was told that he had to be gigged on something. So because the cable was barely touching a shingle, he was gigged. apparently AT&T has made it clear that nobody is to pass a job. EVER!!! how encouraging is that for the technician?
