It's a competition thing also, the telco's are getting into on line video. So what better way to freeze out the sat. companies than to remove a part of their revenue stream and make it a hassle for their customers. All of the companies do it to each other, when I was building plant, TCI then ATT Broadband had us raising the contact on the poles so when an overbuiler came through they would have to pay for the pole make ready to put the embedded provider back where they were. Just another way to cost the other guy more money and posibly make it cost to much to build a competitive system.
