You should know all this! You are, in the eyes of the world, equal to Xerox and Exxon. You are a corporation...a business.
You should know what is in your contract and what your client ( that is the guy you are talking about and probably NOT Directv )
So yeah, they are doing what you agreed to.
Know that you do not have to buy supplies from your subcontractor. You can reject jobs until you can inspect them. IF they force you to take jobs you feel you cannot make a profit from....there is legal recourse.
Look, there is a reason why experienced folks will not work for HSPs. These same reasons apply to why new guys
(welcome by the way) say......" what the fuck is going on?.... I took business law 101 and this crap is illegal!"
Again, welcome.......sue them sooner that later.
