Mostly black people live in New Orleans so who was going to be hit the most? I didn't see anyone crying for the mostly white people in Ohio when they were out of food and water. It was turned into a race issue by the press and the political machine that wanted power.
Most people identify America as the United States. On a map there is North, South and Central America but even the Muslims say "death to America" so I think you are smart enough to know who they are talking about and you already know just as we all do "America" when spoken means the U.S.. No body calls Canadians, Mexicans, Hondurans, Brazilians and so on and so on Americans. You know that as well so why make a big deal out of it?
