You're losing 25dB?! 3dBV per 100' RG6 X 250' = 7.5dB + 7db 4way loss = 14.5dB - 3dB for RG6 100' split to TV = 17.5dB total loss - 19dB tap output = 1.5 dB hitting the TV. Where is the additional 7.5dB going?
If you are so far in the only realistiv choice is to put in house amps which taint cheap but taint expensive either when you look at what it will save you. Pop in a +15db Gain Motorola and have +9dB hit the set. That should be more than suffucient play either way. Just put a single output amp at the 4way input.
Are you sure your meter jumper isn't ready to be replaced?
