Brother , If you use linksys or belkin equipment I can assure you that the installation will go in with ease. These routers are pretty much plug and play. for the novice there will be a disk that comes with the hardware just put the disk into the computer and away you go. DO NOT PLUG ROUTER IN UNTIL YOU HAVE RAN THE SOFTWARE DISK. If you are going the DIY route. The voip adapter will plug directly into the router as your computer will also. Then all the other components you have mentioned have wireless capability built in or they have accessories that can be added on later. I strongly recomend setting up security on any wireless router. This is not a daunting task . If you will take your time it will be very easy. The router software will have a tutorial including how to secure the router.
