Yes, we're bonding for DOCSIS 3. The main reason for the high freq. is that the S.A. boxes won't go that high, so we put the modems up there to use the lower bandwidth for video. The drop length hasn't been an issue for the most part, but this is a suburban community so we don't have drops that hit multiple poles to get to a house. When a modem gets installed the installer has to meet and have verified by a dispatcher that the modem is within parameters for levels and SNR before they can leave the job, then the modem is checked again two days later to make sure it is still within spec. The more digital services you have the tighter the house and the system has to be, leakage is an ongoing thing.
