Just curious cause I never owned anything but Japanese cars, how do the American ones stand up? My uncle swore by the Dodge 318, but would rather walk than have anything to do with the Ford 302. When I was in high school I worked with a guy that painted United Parcel Service Locations on the weekend and the water pump on his Chrysler died, went to the parts store and the replacement was made by Mitsubishi. Knew another guy who had a VW van, the engine died went to a junk yard and put a Porsche engine in with no problems, everything lined up scary good. Crazy stuff I think.
