Don't know about the newer ones, but the older Toyota 4x4 p/u were some tough little bastards. The body would rust away to nothing but the drive train was bullit proof. If I recall correctly, the little 4 poppers were called the SR22? Can't recall precisely as I never owned a foreign vehicle, but I knew a few that did. Myself, I only owned Ford, GM, AMC & Dodge vehicles, with my most often owned being Ford. And this after growing up in a family that owned nothing but VW's since I was 3 years old.
