You are right... It's an AMA regulation but there is no governmental control.... as of yet.
The AMA size limit is 55lbs.
As soon as some jack ass crashes one of those into a house and kills someone they will start regulating every one.
Obviously there is some desire amongst us boys, in terms of the size of our toys.
