When I was a road Warrior here was what I looked for in a Motel
(1) Full Kitchen a whole lot cheaper to fix your own food plus you can turn your reciepts in as expenses for tax
(2) Well lit and safe parking in front of your room
(3) a bar, nightclub and good restraunts within a few minutes walk of motel (the cops know and love it when contractors come into town, easy DUI Targets)
(4) if it is a american owned motel, they can be a bit more flexable with you come payday when your rent is due at 10am fridays and you get paid fridays at 4pm
I have stayed in some hadgee motels and on payday went straight to the office to pay rent because I knew the room was dead bolted.
and I do agree with the Black & cuban Maids of stealing something from your room, I was in Hollywood Beach and one of our fellow cable dawg was killed
because He was partying with one of the maids and later after she left some thugs broke into his room and stabbed him to death for his money.
(5) Get a Concealed Weapon Permit and be bold, Let the people around KNOW that you are Packing ( Maids, Management, Neibors)
1/3 of all room entrys in south florida is from information given by housekeeping, maintance and front desk workers.
and keep your business to yourself, don't boast about how much you make, don't call a escort service 6 days a week, don't laugh, I knew a dawg that
spent at least $2K a week on escorts.
(6) and Last STAY AWAY FROM THE CRACK WHORES, they will bleed you dry then when you toss them to the side, they will rob you or their dealer will rob you
And Just because you stay in a 4 star Hotel you are safe from that crap, think again, the whores, crooks, robbers just have a higher standard
