Hey we had an accident. An oil spill. Let's just shut the whole industry down because of it. Might as well kill what's left of the economy. It is what the dems want after all. That way they can 'take' care of us. Problem is, if they do that, there will be so many less jobs. All the trickle down effect this will have is going to show up. Oil goes up because of it and every thing that uses oil costs more. Food, Gas, heating, plastics, clothes, etc, etc. So then the gov runs in to save the day after screwing it all up and makes the taxpayer pay for it. Record unemployment still out there. More people on food stamps than ever. And what is Obama's plan? Shut more jobs down which means support jobs are cut off. And no alternative energy jobs in sight. But maybe this spill is Bush's fault. After all it did take Bush 2 days to get rolling on the Katrina disaster but Obama has taken 38 days to go see this one. And his response is........"let's shut it down across the country." We don't need no stinking jobs. There must not be a way to deal with one accident and keep the truck rolling down the road in a politicians' eyes. I guess if he found an apple that was spoiled he would throw the whole basket away too.
