Re: coast to coast

unless its on our terms.

Yes and apparently everything else MUST be on your terms. Oh don't get me wrong shotty work habitual missed time frames, should be yours/MSO's terms but taking a few days to investigate you, NO not at all. I have the rite to investigate any and all contractors that I feel the potential to work for.

Our company was founded on the principle of taking care of our technicians and creating a better work environment for everyone.

Really? one could respectfully argue that point.

Our company has tried to eliminate the obscure elements of the cable industry for traveling techs;

So please enlighten me, when a potential sub contractor contacts you about work, if they don't up and leave their families on a minutes/hours notice, as your ad states; Be ready to roll when you call, they are being obscure?

You want to do background checks on us, are you saying that we don't have the rite to investigate you or any other sub contractors, after all these types of companies are notorious for not paying techs for services rendered? Well no I will not leave until I determine that I am safe to leave. if that means I don't work for you, well then I don't want to work for you.

We have loaned technicians money for bills, route money, and other misc. expenses after only knowing them for a short time.

That's very commendable, really it is. but then you are in a catch 22, if you don't then you don't make any money either. sure you can say MUST have travel money, but then how many would actually show up?

As far as answering phone calls, we do our best to get back with everyone as soon as possible.

NO you don't, I called several times left messages.

To those of you who have never recieved a response, keep trying. We always have work.

Sooner or later one has to take the hint.

The techs that were onsite, were given money for fuel and a sincere apology from both owners.

Did they get paid for services rendered?, just because you didn't get paid doesn't mean they shouldn't, I hope you agree with this scenario, but this continues to be a misconception in this industry. if no work was performed then no money paid out, your paying for gas/lodging was again commendable.

And ofcourse, the ones who were dis-satisfied, were usually the ones giving us (and the cable industry) bad names.

Agreed for the most part, however not I.

I urge anyone with legitamate disputes or questions to give any of us a call, at anytime.

As I said I tried to call but no call back.

Personal notes: We have not, do not, and will never tolerate false billing. For the person(s) whose check was held for that reason, it will be released after 100% QC and verification of work and billing.

Agreed, no one should tolerate this.

For the person(s) who accumulated over $2000 in backcharges in backcharges in less than 2 months, your check will be released after that has been processed out in its entirety as well.
s
again, commendable as other contractors simply would not pay at all.

For the technician who has has their background run for over 4 systems now with us, try showing up to one someday.

I have showed interest in several systems you operate in, BUT NEVER been told by phone/email that I was cleared for work in either system. I certainly hope that person knows he was cleared.
