Many that make the rules are local and state however guided by feds and teacher unions...I am not even going to comment on that any further, if you can't distinguish then you are clearly out of the loop. (btw, I have 2 young children in public school now, recently in private school) 1984 compare to 2010, come on dude, you can't even seriously compare.. If you send your children to school to learn nutrition then again I have to say that is foolish... School is for basics, what they will endeavor to learn is incumbent on the parent. To suggest that the state is responsible for the education of a child is a complete cop-out. If so, when they drop out before graduation you would be suggesting it is the states fault, yes? If you are so all trusting in the state nowadays, then you should be reeducating yourself as well. Your response is borderline ignorance, the other idiots it goes without saying..
