Dude, have them come and arrest you because obviously she is somebodies relative and is playing that card to get something for nothing. The detective has no signed warrant for your arrest otherwise you would be typing this from jail. I would actually call the feds on this and go for the guys shield with an abuse of authority. Ask to see the warrant as it's your right. If they did arrest you the civil rights violation stemming from the abuse of authority would have you essentially hitting lotto. The customer called you, not the other way around. She solicited your help, you informed her of the charges and she paid them without you coercing her to do so by any manner. Get yourself a good civil rights lawyer, and then call the brain dead detective and tell him to bring the warrant and arrest you. After the civil rights violation case see's the local sheriffs dept. settling and paying you they will give you wide berth around town especially when the news media is brought into play......Go and collect you're lotto winnings dude.
