one thing I have noticed is there is no upstream snr levels.  They could also be dropping out as well.  Just like what everett said.  Sounds like the line need to be sweep and balanced.  That would accured after that line is completed after all is said and done.  10db is a bit high but doable.  I would suggest adding a 2 way right behind the modem to drop it by 3.5db.  That should put you at 7 rx and 51 tx.  Tx would be alittle high for my taste.  Nornally like to see them around 45db if all possible.  But it is doable for a short term fix.  Since you are going through a upgrade.  It will be a bitch for alittle while.  After all said and done.  You should be alright.
