yes it works the swm system has 9 channels 8 of them are for your tuners (up to 8) and the ninth is a communication channel which allows the receivers to "talk" to each other they all send the callback information through the 9th channel and will dial out the the available dial tone.
it also does not matter which one is connected in the system or the order of activation (doesnt have to be primary) as long as one is hooked up it will work
