If your prime is paying the field guys 40% of billing and you are taking it then SHAME ON YOU. As example we pay out roughly 60% to field rep with another 15-18% going to ONSITE (not regional) manager which often is split 75/25 between onsite guy and lead rep/assistant. Beyond that ANOTHER 8-10% goes into a contingency fund which first covers background checks and drug tests along with clothing and the occasional non-fraudulent chargeback. With remnants of that fund we hand out bonus's or go on trips at end of year. Had 30 reps in both Aruba and St. Martin on different years and have also visited San Juan with a large contingent. Bottom line 80% of billing gets to the guys in the field in our company but we expect hard work and honesty in return. Novel idea--the guy who does the work gets the lions share of the billing.........
And you owners out there, don't tell me it doesn't work to pay out fairly as have been doing it for 21 years that way.
