1. 16.44 an hour is the rate for an employee of a contractor.
2. This employee does not pay for gas, truck, tools, meter, paid sick days and vacation days, and has Medical and other benefits offered to him. (at least the contractors out of my office that I have spoken to)
If anyone out there is making 16.44 and hour and supplying your own stuff. Your a moron. You can go inhouse for the Cable Company and start better than that with tons of benefits. I think brand new guys with no experience start around 12 or 13.
