Maybe you should ask the guy who signs your check what the cost per hour is for keeping you on the payroll is? certainly just because a person is self employed doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to afford his own benefits does it? or should that be something only an inhouse tech should get?
Do you think the cost of those benefits you get come for free?
God forbid a self employed person should pay himself for a holiday or how dare he think he should try and cover himself or his family with medical insurance, and don't even think about retiring cause we all know the self employed work til they die.
If you could see past that huge ego you seem to display on here you might just find that your being well overpaid compared to some of the people on here are getting per hour.
P.S the great thing about numbers and reports is, that if you know what your doing you can make them say what ever you want them too. This site is full or experts some in cable and some in being the next pretender to the thrown. ( also anything more than 2.4% service call to install gets you backcharged in the area I work and yes my numbers are better :) but hey keep up the good work you'll be king someday.
