I know what your saying. I just wonder if and how vigorously the law will be enforced. I would like to see other states adopt similar law's, I live in Virginia near DC and I don't think there is a single restaurant in the area that has a English speaking worker with the exception of the owners.
I have nothing against immigrants, Hell my wife is Japanese but we did it legal. I don't think it should take 9 months to do but that's the US government for you. I do have a problem with illegal immigrants and think they should not be aloud to get government handouts/benefits and steal from the American people.
Then there are the people that say they do the jobs that nobody else wants to do. That's BULLSHIT!!!!! Who the fuck did them before the illegals took them? Somebody must have been doing them. I remember as a teenager working for landscape company's in the spring and summer, that's how I got my summer spending money and it kept me busy and out of trouble. In the fall and winter I washed dishes or worked at the local burger joint on weekends and 1 or 2 nights a week. Try to find a teenager today doing that, even if they wanted to they couldn't because some illegal has taken it at less than minimum wage.
