Forward INGRESS is mostly due to a local channel getting in the cable system (local TV or FM station).
Usually crack cable, bad install connector, amp. not closed properly.
Look for it using a spectrum analyzer or event a TV could be of some help if you do not a spectrum analyzer.
Start looking at the head end see if it is there, if not go to the middle of the system, if you see it there go half way between the HE and your present location, and so on.
Not exactly the same thing in the return section, even if it is not wanted signal getting in the return.
