All true but remember it did not happen overnight. These changes all occurred gradually. I remember going to school with my mother to watch the principal paddle my brother. The next year when I started school that was not allowed anymore. I remember going to high school and finding that overnight metal detectors were installed. (1992) None of us thought that was going to happen. Also remember that same year the drug dogs going through our lockers after 8th period. (yes thats right, we had an 8th period making our school 40 minutes longer) another gradual change. Sadly we have to adapt to keep up with the world we live in.
