Yes, this meter is a pain to get everything setup on. I do already have the PCIP software as that is what I used to check the firmware version. It shows that several "options" are disabled, but you cannot enable them through PCIP. As for the learning curve, the 500 is very similar to the 1000 and I think it is pretty easy to use. Not as easy as my SDA-4040 was, but the SDA doesn't do return. Also, Suddenlink is treating us just like inhouse in regards to the tests and uploads...so I need a Sunrise meter.
I guess I really just need the firmware that Suddenlink is putting on the meters and upgrade it myself.
Also, I did just find out today that there are CM500's in the system that have RealGate enabled on them. Thats what I need I guess. If anyone has that firmware, please please share. Thank you
