Well for one, they wanted a public option but didnt think Repubs would vote for it in there so they left it out.  They know that 77% of people want a public option in the bill.  Thats why when they show on tv about democrats not likeing the bill on Fox it is because of this.  They dont think the bill is good without it.  Now, that it is apparent that Repubs are gonna vote no on everything, they want to put it in there.  this is only one example.
