Buddy of mine was doing splice work for a contractor for time warner when they were still in Htown and all he was gettin was 50/amp, 25/LE, 12/DC, and 5/tap. Needless to say he was with them for a very short term, and found a little better deal. Eight years ago when I started splicing, and got up to full rates, I was getting $.23/ft. Now my rates vary between $.29 and $.32 per foot depending on what MSO the work is for. I kow it isn't $.43/foot ,but from talking to other spliceres in my city my rates aren't bad at all.
