Yes, as a politician, he is two-faced. He has a record of voting for cuts to Medicare. That fact is undisputable. Now through his attempt to block Medicare cuts, he is out to show older Americans that he is now on thier side of the fence. If that isn't two-faced, I don't know what is. I am certainly not attacking him personally, I am attacking his record.
Healthcare has been debated in one form or another for almost 40 years. As healthcare costs continue to rise, as well as the profits of health insurance companies, and the denial of coverage continues, something needs to be done now. The House has already passed thier version by 220 votes. And the Senate has already passed thier version by 60 votes. So the only thing left to do is reconcile the differences between the two bills and put it to a vote.
I am I different than anybody else? I read posts from others on here attacking Obama, Pelosi, and others. Do you see me attacking their opinions?
Had McCain been a Democrat and flipped-flopped on Medicare, my post would have been the same.
I will be posting something a little later about Obama and the 50 plus one vote that he mentioned during his campain.
