The articles that I posted about McCain were not meant to be an attack on him, but rather to show how many times he voted reconciliation style, and how many times he voted to cut Medicare.
Is it alright for Republicans to reconcile a bill, but not Democrats? This healthcare bill has more good points in it than bad. There is no perfect piece of legislation, as some will find fault in anything that is proposed, be it Republican, or Democrat.
Most Americans are tired of the status quo. So no doubt Democrats wil lose at election time, but so will Republicans.
McCain needs bi-partisan support for this ammendment to happen. At this point in time, he doesn't have it.
