Ok.......here goes......you've got a f@*%(ing job......I've been a construction lineman for almost 30 years, hooking poles, lashing, de-lashing, over-lashing, splicing etc. in all kinds of shitty circumstances, but you will not get sympathy from me.....WHY?......CAUSE YOU'RE WORKING!!!!!!!!.....Most of us Lineman are out of work, waiting for the next build or rebuild, span replacement, accident pole, or Mother Nature to tear the system apart. Stop your damn complaining, pull up your bootstraps, and shut up....And by the way I've been a supervisor for almost 10 years, and I can tell you one thing I always stuck up for my crew.....so don't fu$*%ing generalize, cause where we come from...I may be your next boss, and see exactly the work you do.....so get off your ass, suck it up and keep on going, cause you are one of the lucky ones still bringing in a paycheck......
