Re: Comcast seeks reputation change with Xfinity b

If Comcast would hire Managers that actually knew something about maintaining plant and quit letting the bean counters make the call on what does or doesn't need to be done it would help them more. Instead of giving contracts to primes that have proven over and over they are inept ( and we all know who they are) they would have a better product. However the way it really works is that if you tell them something they want to do will not achieve the results they are aiming for there is no discussion they will just find another company that won't question them and won't tell them you can't do this without parts.

Now they are starting to keep records on who is working on the project so their idea is it is the worker that they are asking to do this idiotic thing that is the reason the project went badly and they will be black listed. This is the Comcast logic let's keep doing what isn't working and expect a different result. And if they don't get the desired result then it must be the worker in the field not the management that told them to do the wrong thing and certainly not the Comcast guy that has no clue.

If they really wanted different results they would bring in subs that actually perform the work and ask them where the process is going wrong. This would work in all aspects from installs to major upgrades. Then maybe if the would listen they would achieve the results the want and not have to change their name.
