How many politicians aren't hypocritical? 2? hehe. And to clarify, NATIVE ALASKANS share the wealth like no other state. Residents get a small portion of the interest generated by investments of oil income. If the stock market does bad the interest is bad and you might get a 300 dollar check. The highest, and it only happened once was 1900 dollars and some change. Usually it is around 1000. It won't change anyone's life. Native corporations have some of their members, native only, getting 50,000 a year.
