Ok so its a strategic locale.  Take your pick.  We didn't get the contract for one of the fields that I recall.  My speculation would be the change of heart towards their liberators may be key to keeping us out of the oil contracts atleast in the public perception.  Why else would we have went down there.  Ask yourself for the most logical answer.  Its a published fact there was no evidence to support invading a nation.  You do not start a war without an agenda.  Those are the two most obvious.  This wasnt a shoe string decision it was planned down to the last details for some time before the "WMD's" propaganda.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion and the majority of the people I talk to think it was oil.  What do you think Toast?
