That is my point. When I go into a customers house to install satellite, the first thing I ask is if they have internet or phone through the cable company. If they say yes then I see what room that is in and I just run a new line to that room and use the other existing lines on the house as long as they are good. The problem I have been running into recently is houses that are brand new or the customer just moved into a different house. When I get there they do not have anything. I hook up satellite using existing lines and what ever I have to run from the dish to the ground. Then they get cable internet a couple days later and the guy unhooks what I've done and uses one of the lines for the internet instead of just running his own line.
