Well generally whatever tech, whether it be a Sat tech or Cable tech, that goes out and disconnects everything without first asking the customer what services they currently have already is an idiot. I go to customers homes all the time who have multi services, so as a part of customer service , you as the tech should be asking the customer what services do they currently have and if they are keeping it or not, you can't assume jus because they ordered cable and have dish they are getting rid of the dish or vice versa.
