I have done both dish, direct, wild blue and now doing cable. I never jack up a sat guys work, most of them around here do shit work anyway. I run that new line and get paid for it, makes a modem job pay $35 versus $26... I have been on trouble calls wher ethe modem was out and the sat guy came in and seized that line so he didn't have to do the wallfish. Fact of the matter is there are lazy ass techs on both sides of the fence. A lot of companies don't train thier techs properly then follow up with proper qc's. The line's not matter who install them belong to the house, period and by proxy the sub.
