So as matter of priority, under Bush, we create the biggest entitlement program in recent history, instead of fixing the ones we already have.
Theres some things you should know about the ideas you listed.
According to the same CBO:
#1. GOP plan cuts $68b from deficit. Dem plan cuts 108b
#2. The GOP plan onlys get 3 million additional people covered over 10 years. Which barely keeps up with population growth. The Dem plan adds 36 million, and cuts the percentage of uninsused down to 4% of population, most of the 4% would be illegal alliens.
So the CBO says the DEM plan cuts the deficit almost double the amount of what the GOP plan would, while covering 12 times as many people. Do you still think the GOP plan is the best answer? If so, why?
