  Israel wasn't a country until 1947.  For two thousand years the Jews were dispersed world-wide.  Other than it's military, Israel now gets little if any American aid dollars(comparatively).  They're pretty much self-sustaining.  And I would think that it's safe to say that most of the rest of the world has or has had the opportunity to take a swing at them.  We sit here in America and debate how to get out of Iraq.  What do we do about Iran?  How do we stop bin laden?  I think we should ask Israel what they would do.  Betcha they've had a plan for each for a while now.
