Re: should you get paid for down time

w2 time starts when you arrive to the office or warehouse and clock your card in, then you go to pick up your keys to your truck, your are ether an employee or a contractor, can somebody explain me what  is contract employee ? you can add up te cost of a truck to run it and dont forget when it brakes down i just got  new transmision for 3000 dollars, dont forget to allow 1 hour travel time from last job to warehouse for inventory and paper work
