It's called people need to eat and feed their kids and the business has burned through 99.9 % of the old talent that used to do it for a living. $18 an hr. is a decent amount for those that used to stock shelves at WalMart or the local piggly wiggly. The good thing about this is when they start making illegal deductions (charge backs) from the paychecks of single working moms whose income is subsidized by social services the crap will finally hit the proverbial fan as the the social services worker on those cases will want to see pay stubs when the client is having 50% or more deducted from the pay check as a single parent head of household filing status. I fore see quite a few fulfillment vendors going tits up after the fines and criminal penalties.
