Your concerns are real, and I share them. We just don't agree on how to go about addressing these concerns. I am one who beleives you cant fix the national debt, until you fix the budget. And you can't fix the budget, until you fix the economy so that we have enough people on the tax roll to address our fisical issues. I don't feel there is a magic wand to make everything OK in an instant.
I feel if you don't address the current state of the economy first, you can't properly address the budget and the national debt. Healthcare has to be addressed because the costs are not sustainable. IMO, we either become a nation who turns people away from the ER, or we reform the way we do healthcare.

If we don't lead in energy, we risk becoming 21st century country in a 23rd century world.
