Why did you stop at 8 years. Sounds like you are doing the same thing as everyone else. This didn't start with Bush by a long shot but everyone wants to blame him. How about looking at the rest of the story as you say. Fannie and Freddie were during Clinton and that's where this economy started failing. Oh no, not right away but it was that which started this whole thing. 2 wars were started? How about every other war we have been in has been started by Dems? . WWI, Wilson, WWII, Roosevelt, Korea, Truman, Vietnam, Johnson. People will say its the republicans in congress, but since 1931, the republicans have been inpower a total of 16 years, many times the democrats held a filibuster proof majority, especially during the vietnam war, at one point in the 70s, there was a 74-16 democrat majority. and even so, the president has to present it to congress and sign it into action. Who are the people who won't support a war tax? Why does there have to be a tax? Another tax? How about congress that voted for it? Dems included. It didn't happen without them. You might find this interesting.

Part of it is as follows:
An article today in the Associated Press said that Hillary is running on Bill Clinton’s record – such as his success with the economy.
Wow! Really?
Anyone should be able to thoroughly refute Hillary’s claim, and yet the Democrats continue to get away with the myth that Clinton created a great economy, and that Bush caused the economic collapse. Isn’t the media supposed to be a watchdog against this type of deceit? Even the Republicans have never effectively countered claims of Clinton’s economic success as far as I know.
This graph shows the market falling before 2001 when Bush took office. It was falling before the Nov election. The rest is in the link above if anyone is interested. Very interesting reading and something the press won't be reporting.
